As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Sales Coordinator to lead coordination efforts within our growing Sales & Business Development team, mentor junior team members, and take ownership of key client accounts and high-value tenders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily sales coordination operations, ensuring smooth workflow across the sales team and setting priorities for junior coordinators.
- Take ownership of preparing and reviewing complex quotations, proposals, and tender submissions, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and timely delivery.
- Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts, proactively following up on quotations, inquiries, purchase orders, and deliveries.
- Act as the primary coordination point between engineering, procurement, stores, and project teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of customer requirements.
- Mentor, guide, and support junior sales coordinators, reviewing their work and helping build team capability.
- Maintain and continuously improve the CRM system, customer databases, and sales records, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline analyses to management, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Identify process improvement opportunities within the sales coordination function and help implement more efficient workflows.
- Communicate professionally and confidently with clients, maintaining excellent customer service standards at all levels.
- Take a leading role in business development initiatives, exhibitions, client meetings, and marketing activities.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in sales coordination, customer service, or sales administration, with at least 1–2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
- Proven experience in the Engineering, HVAC, MEP, Diesel Generator, Construction, or Industrial sector is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to manage priorities independently and take ownership of outcomes with minimal supervision.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide and support junior team members.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders and clients.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and hands-on experience with CRM systems.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to prepare accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
