Project-based | Trincomalee Naval Jetty Project
We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical works on our naval jetty project in Trincomalee.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, supervise and coordinate all electrical works on site, including power distribution, shore power, lighting and earthing systems
• Review electrical designs, drawings and specifications, and make sure they meet contract and statutory requirements
• Coordinate with consultants, the client, subcontractors and other engineering disciplines
• Oversee installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems
• Prepare progress reports, method statements, material submittals and as-built documentation
• Enforce health, safety and quality standards on site
• Guide and supervise junior engineers and technical staff
Requirements
• BSc in Electrical / Electrical & Electronic Engineering
• At least 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, including site experience on infrastructure or construction projects
• An MSc in a relevant field is an added advantage
• Experience in marine, port, jetty or defence-related projects is preferred
• Good knowledge of IEE/IEC standards and CEB regulations
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Willing to be based in Trincomalee for the duration of the project
• Chartered Engineer / IESL membership is an added advantage
