Nativeway (Pvt) Ltd. is a growing MEP contractor delivering projects across commercial, residential, hospitality and industrial sectors. We’re looking for an experienced HVAC engineer to lead design and estimation for tenders and live projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out HVAC system design: heat load calculations, duct and pipe sizing, equipment selection and ventilation design
- Prepare and review design drawings, schematics and shop drawings
- Prepare accurate BOQs, cost estimates and tender submissions for HVAC packages
- Review tender documents, specifications and drawings; raise technical queries and clarifications
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Prepare value engineering options and alternative proposals
- Coordinate with project, procurement and site teams through handover from tender to execution
- Mentor and review the work of junior engineers and draughtspersons
Qualifications and Experience
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent); chartered or working towards chartership is an advantage
- Minimum [7–10] years of HVAC experience, with at least [3–5] years in design and estimation
- Strong knowledge of chilled water, VRF, split/ducted and ventilation systems
- Proficiency in HAP, Elite, or similar load calculation software, plus AutoCAD; Revit MEP is an advantage
- Good understanding of ASHRAE, SMACNA and local codes
- Sound knowledge of material and labour costing in the local market
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
