Role
As Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving revenue growth across NativeWay's product and solutions portfolio — power generation, industrial laundry equipment, HVAC/ventilation, and MEP engineering services. You'll build lasting relationships with corporate, industrial, and institutional clients while positioning NativeWay as the partner of choice for integrated engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across NativeWay's product lines (power generators, laundry equipment, heat pumps, ventilation systems, and MEP contracting)
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants, contractors, and industry stakeholders
• Prepare and present compelling proposals, quotations, and tender submissions
• Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends
• Collaborate closely with technical, engineering, and after-sales teams to ensure smooth project handover and client satisfaction
• Represent NativeWay at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings
• Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market intelligence to management
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
• 3–5+ years of proven experience in business development or B2B sales, preferably in engineering, power generation, industrial equipment, or MEP/construction sectors
• Strong network and understanding of Sri Lanka's industrial, commercial, and institutional markets
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable managing a diverse sales pipeline
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel across Sri Lanka as required
• Technical aptitude to understand and articulate engineering solutions is a strong advantage
